Your ‘Talent’ (or spokespeople) are all set to use Blinder right now. But when communications and media managers are scheduling their first 'Blind call' for them, it can be handy to have a few words to explain things. You're welcome to cut and paste from the notes below.

Trialling a new system
We’re trialling a safe, simple and smart system called Blinder to better connect our spokespeople with the media.
Blinder lets us schedule ‘Blind calls’, which enable the media to call you directly on your mobile phone at the agreed interview time, but without any personal contact details being exchanged.
It's super simple for you
As before, we’ll liaise with you directly around any media interviews you’ll be asked to do.
Once you've agreed to an interview, you’ll be notified of the call details by text and email.
Then, at the agreed time, all you need to do is answer your phone
(There’s no app. to download).
You’re all set
‘Blind calls’ will come to you from our recognised team Blinder number.
You'll get a reminder 10 minutes before any interview by text.
And, in the unlikely event you miss answering a call, the media can dial you back shortly afterwards.
Here’s what athletes from the Australia Rugby team make of using Blinder
Note: See ‘What do I need to tell the Media before their first 'Blind call'? here.
