(The following article refers to Blinder Studio beta as of the version 4.5 release in August 2021.)

Blinder makes it simple to quickly edit your recorded “all participants” video interviews with Blinder Studio. You can use Blinder Studio with recorded files captured since the Blinder version 4.3 release on July 8, 2021.

If you do not see the video editor in your call details page, be sure to clear your browser cache or do a hard refresh of the page using CTRL+SHIFT+R (for Windows) or COMMAND+SHIFT+R (for Mac).

  1. Select the video file from your library that you wish to edit. You may edit any “All Participants” clips and any additional edits of those clips. Editable clips will be marked with the “Edit” icon.

  2. Once in editing mode, click the video layer in the timeline to activate the trimming tabs. Click and drag the playhead to view your video from any start point, slide the scroll bar to navigate the timeline, and click the zoom to minimize and maximize the timerail (smallest frame interval is 0.1 seconds).

  3. Drag the left and right edges of the trimming tabs to the desired start and end points.

  4. Click “Finish” to begin processing the new clip and publishing it to your library.
