Schedule a 'Blind call'

How to schedule a 'Blind Call'

Written by Sinéad Huggins

From your dashboard

  • Click the 'Schedule a call' button on your dashboard and choose 'Phone call'.

  • Add your contact's details by searching your existing contacts or clicking Someone New.

  • As you type into the search bar your list of contacts will appear

  • Once you have chosen your recipient and caller you can choose the type of notifications you would like them to receive. It can be by text, email or both.

  • Set the 'Date' and 'Start time' for the call (you only need to adjust the time on either recipient or caller as the system will auto calculate the other for you).

  • Add notes for your recipient and caller if required (these notes are private to each party).

  • Set your 'Call Window' (this is the time available for the caller to start the call once the start time commences)

  • Set the features for the call, ie 'Record', 'Share', 'Disconnect at the end time', or 'Add yourself to call' (you may not have all of these features on your account)

  • Click the 'Schedule the call' button once you have set up your call.

Note:  You can change any of your recipient's or caller's details while you are scheduling a call, but the changes will affect that call only.

The next screen you will see is a preview of your call details.  You can still make any last-minute changes from here by clicking the 'Back' button to take you back to the edit screen. Or if you are happy with all the details, click the 'Schedule Now' button.

Communications are then sent by text and email to the recipient, caller and yourself.
